William Martin Sloane, Ph.D., D.C.L.
Dr. Sloane is a Maryland/Pennsylvania attorney and an Anglican/Old Catholic priest and bishop. He works in the Caribbean as president of Charisma University and chancellor of the International University for Graduate Studies. Formerly Democratic Chief Counsel to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Dr. Sloane has taught part-time at Elizabethtown College, McCann School of Business & Technology, Millersville University, Mount St. Mary's University, St. Francis University of Loretto, Shippensburg University, Temple University, Widener University, and Wilson College.
He has been admitted as a Fellow of five learned societies in the U.K.: the Royal Society for Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce; the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland; the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain & Ireland; the Royal Statistical Society; and the Royal Society for Public Health. He serves as president of the Council on Chiropractic Practice and of the Society for the Cure of Souls and is a member of the board of directors of the International Certification & Reciprocity Commission, in which he is a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, and of the National Qigong Association, in which he is certified as a Level 1 Qigong Instructor. He is a past chair of the American College of Counselors [Diplomate & Fellow] and of the American Board of Forensic Counselors [Life Diplomate] and a past vice president of the American Association of Integrative Medicine [Life Diplomate of the College of Mind-Body Medicine & Life Fellow].
He is board certified in Professional Counseling (ABPC) and in Clinical Supervision (ACC), a Certified Addictionologist (ACACD), a Master of Medical Qigong (ECIMQ), and an Applied Psychoanalysis Professional (SMP). Dr. Sloane is an International Scientific College member of the International Academy of Sciences San Marino; a Health Care Reform Advisory Council member, Our America Initiative; a licensed real-estate instructor, Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission; and a member of Mensa and of the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. He serves as faculty vice chair and Institutional Review Board chair at Atlantic University.
